“Life is a full circle, widening until it joins the circle motions of the infinite.”
― Anaïs Nin
The Universe never, not ever, fails to delight me with little nuggets of pure awesome.
Just as I started working on this, one of my infamous note cards appeared by my camera. Like, well, you know, as if it were placed there by MAGIC!
This Friday there is a full Moon in Sagittarius, and the Sun peeks into the Gemini’s path. It is a good time for me, as this is when my internal motivation gets revved up a bit. Or, in other words, Full Moon days help me git’er’done.
Currently I’m working on two things: 1) book in progress called “Calling the Gateway,” and 2) the bones and marrow of an upcoming program called The Wise Seeker (info coming soon). Along with that there are plants that need tended, herbs that need processed, clan-lings that need their Momma, and just Life.
Thank goodness that there is time enough, and that time is a long circular river…
“Perhaps the art of harvesting the secret riches of our lives is best achieved when we place profound trust in the act of beginning. Risk might be our greatest ally. To live a truly creative life, we always need to cast a critical look at where we presently are, attempting always to discern where we have become stagnant and where new beginning might be ripening. There can be no growth if we do not remain open and vulnerable to what is new and different. I have never seen anyone take a risk for growth that was not rewarded a thousand times over.” ― John O’Donohue
The Phoenix is more than just a story, or myth, it is our soul’s brightest light shining again and again in new forms.
My Mom suggested that I let me light hide under a basket too much. My dear sweet husband, aka Mr. The Mister tells me that not sharing the pieces of magic in my life makes the world a much more unhappy place. My eldest children tell me things like: “You taught us to live life to the fullest – so take your own medicine.” The youngest, still just elf-lings in their own rights, beg me nightly for more stories of “the Other worlds.”
The name Hillbilly Mystic came to me in a dream. It was of great intensity and importance, because my dear sweet Crow Friends were telling me the joys of living in a “mystical world of hillbilly wonderment.” There were other secrets they shared…but that is for another day/time.
So, after some time off…and a few failed reboots, here is the full rebirth of Hillbilly Mystic.
